We believe that with the right support, any individual with a learning disability or autism can reach their full potential and achieve their employment aspirations.
About OrchardvilleOur Services
We provide services, support and opportunities to people with learning disability or autism.
Employment Support
We work alongside individuals and employers to create inclusive workplaces where people with learning disabilities and autism can thrive.
Our employment programmes include:
- job coaching and on-the-job support;
- work placements with local employers; and
- training for businesses to support neurodiverse staff.
Skills Training
Through practical training and personal development, we help participants gain the skills they need for work and daily life.
This includes:
- vocational skills in areas like hospitality, retail, and administration;
- travel training, communication and social skills workshops; and
- confidence-building activities.
Day Opportunities
We offer community-based services, tailored to the needs of the individual.
Our day opportunities include:
- Group based activities; training, sports, arts, social
- Independent living skills; safety, nutrition & wellbeing, and
- Volunteering & placement opportunities.
Transitions
Transitions isn’t a standalone service — it’s part of everything we do.
All our Day Opportunity and Employment projects include support to help young people prepare for this important stage in life.
Our Transition Co-Ordinator works closely with participants, families, schools, social workers, and Orchardville colleagues to co-ordinate post-school options for those living in the Belfast and South Eastern Trust areas.
