Catering Assistant – £17,290 per year (35hrs per week)

Working alongside our participants, you will take and deliver customer orders while maintaining a high standard of customer service. As a key member of the Orchardville Café team you will contribute to the success of Orchardville by providing excellent customer service to all customers whilst working alongside and mentoring participants to support them in employment to maximise their individual potential and opportunities for progression.

Essential Criteria

In addition to a can-do attitude, all candidates must have:

• 1 years’ experience in a busy café / front of house
• Literacy and numeracy
• Basic food hygiene

Desirable Criteria

• NVQ Level 2 in a catering subject
• Experience of cooking in a café or other commercial environment
• Experience of working with people with learning disability / autism spectrum condition in either a
  personal, training, or employment setting

Cook – £17,908.80 per year (35hrs per week)

Working alongside our participants, you will work as part of the team to produce high-quality, home-cooked food using local ingredients. You will also have an input into menu development for the café.

Essential Criteria

1 years’ experience of cooking in a café or other commercial environment
Literacy and numeracy level 2
Basic food hygiene
Desirable Criteria

Experience and knowledge of learning disability around employment
NVQ Level 2 in a catering subject
1 years’ experience in a busy café / front of house
