Back to Work at Orchardville Works!
Project participants have returned to their activity at Orchardville Works for the first time since the easing of lockdown restrictions. From Monday 17th August around 20 participants on our ESF funded Ignite2 project will recommence practical skills and personal development training at the Orchardville social enterprise located at Knockwood Park in Belfast.
On the return of project participants, Orchardville Works Manager Samantha Haddock commented:
“It’s great to see our participants in person again today and be able catch up properly outside of our weekly zoom sessions. The positive and enthusiastic feel to the office has been a real boost for everyone. We’re really excited for the day that we’re able to bring the whole team back together safely”
On their first day back to work participants quickly got back into the swing of things working on mailings, the fulfilment of reusable barista cups for Henderson Print and the embroidery of workwear for customers.
For 25 years Orchardville Works has been providing office support services to public, private and voluntary sector organisations throughout Northern Ireland.
100% of the surplus generated by Orchardville Works goes back into delivering the objectives of the Charity.
