About Project Ignite3

Take the Opportunity

Together with your dedicated Employment Officer you’ll work to design an action plan that delivers your employability and inclusion goals. Your Employment Officer will meet with you regularly, acting as mentor and guide to set up activities from your action plan. Activities may include work sampling with a range of local employers; helping build your confidence and develop more practical in-work skills or completing OCN accredited training tailored to address any barriers to progression identified.

Gain Employment

Alongside valuable work experience with local employers, Ignite3 participants can also experience work within the project’s employability hubs; our Orchard Café locations across Belfast, Orchardville Works and our Industrial Solutions project at Ryobi, Carrickfergus. Our social enterprises are ‘real work’ settings providing participants with supportive environments in which to develop both practical and soft skills, in preparation for your future progression towards employment.

With Our Support

Participants who may be experiencing poor physical or emotional wellbeing can also avail of support from the project’s Wellbeing for Work Coach, further supporting the achievement of your employability goals. Similarly, a range of evening social activities, part of a busy monthly events calendar, are available to participants from Belfast though our CLASP (Community Inclusion) project.

We’ll help you identify jobs you may be interested in, source work experience and support you with job applications and interviews, all to ensure that you secure the job that’s right for you and keep it!
