The Volunteer Inclusion Project
Get Involved
The Volunteer Inclusion Project (VIP) is funded by The National Lottery and will work with 300 young people with learning disability or autism to support them to volunteer in their local community.
About The Volunteer Inclusion Project
The project will bring people together from a variety of backgrounds in the community to build strong relationships, enabling all involved to thrive and reach their potential. There are opportunities for both individual and group based volunteering which will be hosted by a variety of community and voluntary organisations. The project offers training and support to participant volunteers which will lead to gaining new skills, developing social confidence and independence. This will lead to further opportunities to progress, while giving back to the community. Our team can provide training to volunteer hosts to raise awareness and knowledge about disability and the invaluable contribution people with disabilities make to society.
