Celebrating Meaningful Employment Partnership with McDonald’s

At Orchardville, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to Live, Learn and Work. We are thrilled to highlight a shining example of this belief in action through our partnership with McDonald’s in Glengormley.

For nearly two years, Peter, a participant supported by Orchardville, has been employed at McDonald’s, where he continues to make valuable contributions to the team. With specialised disability employment support from Orchardville and the inclusive work environment fostered by McDonald’s, Peter has developed not only professionally but personally, demonstrating his dedication, enthusiasm, and work ethic every day.

This partnership showcases how collaboration between organisations can create meaningful and long-lasting employment opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities or autism.

Cara Cash-Marley, CEO of Orchardville, commented:

“We are incredibly proud of Peter and his journey with McDonald’s in Glengormley. For nearly two years, Peter has been a valued member of the team, demonstrating dedication, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic. His success is a testament to what can be achieved when individuals are given the right support and opportunities to thrive. McDonald’s is a fantastic example of an employer that truly embraces diversity and inclusion, ensuring that meaningful employment is accessible to all.”

At Orchardville we are committed to empowering individuals with learning disabilities or autism by providing support, skills development, and opportunities for professional and personal growth. Our work with McDonald’s is just one example of how businesses can create inclusive environments that benefit everyone.

We look forward to continuing this partnership with McDonald’s and supporting more individuals like Peter to reach their full potential in meaningful, sustainable employment.
