Board of Directors

Orchardville is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors who provide our overall governance and leadership based on a shared vision, mission and values. Our Board ensures that Orchardville fulfils its financial and legal responsibilities and promotes best practice. Board members bring a range of skills and experience ensuring that Orchardville delivers on its charitable and business objectives.


  • Kathy Martin, (Chair)
    Head of Marketing, Communications & Audiences at BBC Northern Ireland, Kathy is a seasoned professional with extensive Board experience in the charity sector and also extensive experience of learning disability.

  • Louise Tiffney, (Treasurer & Chair of ARC)
    A qualified accountant, Louise provides strong financial guidance.

  • Jamie Bill, (Director)
    Jamie is a senior manager of a large private organisation and brings an employer perspective to the Board

  • Suzanne Lutton, (Director)
    Suzanne has extensive experience in local government and regeneration as well as extensive board experience.

  • Apolonia Mbondiya, (Director)
    Apolonia is a youth and community worker and is the carer of a participant with autism.

  • Jonathan McAlpin, (Director & Chair of Governance Committee)
    Jonathan has extensive experience in social enterprise.

  • Sian McKinty, (Director)
    Sian is a teacher and parent of a child with learning disability.

  • Chris Perry, (Director)
    Working in the public sector, Chris is a senior HR manager, providing guidance on HR.

  • John Veitch, (Director)
    A social worker & recently retired senior Heath Trust executive, John has extensive experience of learning disability.
