Board of Directors

Orchardville is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors who provide our overall governance and leadership based on a shared vision, mission and values. Our Board ensures that Orchardville fulfils its financial and legal responsibilities and promotes best practice. Board members bring a range of skills and experience ensuring that Orchardville delivers on its charitable and business objectives.


  • Martin Howell, MBE (Chair)
    Martin has over 40 years’ experience in Private and Voluntary sectors. He has been Chair since 2014 and works in a voluntary capacity with 2 other local charities.

  • Jayne Gallagher, Vice Chair
    Jayne is an experienced marketer with extensive Board experience.

  • Louise Tiffney, Treasurer
    A qualified accountant, Louise provides strong financial guidance.

  • Lorraine Hornsby, Director
    Lorraine is an accountant and a parent of an autistic child.

  • Jamie Bill, Director
    Jamie is a senior manager of a large private organisation and brings an employer perspective to the Board.

  • Suzanne Lutton, Director
    Suzanne has extensive experience in local government and regeneration as well as significant board experience.

  • Jonathan McAlpin, Director
    Jonathan has extensive experience in social enterprise.

  • Sian McKinty, Director
    Sian is a teacher and parent of a child with learning disability.

  • Chris Perry, Director
    Working in the public sector, Chris is a senior HR manager, providing guidance on HR.

  • John Veitch, Director
    A social worker and recently retired senior Health Trust executive, John has considerable experience of learning disability.
