Workable NI
Employment & Skills
In partnership with six other disability organisations, we support people already in employment who are at risk of losing their jobs. The service supports employees with a learning disability or autism working 10 hours or more.
About Workable NI
As part of a consortium of seven disability organisations, called Supported Employment Solutions (SES), Orchardville is contracted on behalf of the Department for Communities to deliver Workable (NI).
Workable (NI) supports employees who are at risk of losing their jobs as a result of their disability or health condition or who wish to return to work after a period of absence. Our specialist Employment Officers work alongside participants to create personalised development plans and to provide disability awareness training and advice around reasonable adjustments to employers.
You can access the Workable (NI) programme if you wish to work or are working more than 10 hours per week. Workable (NI) is available to you if you are aged 16 or over with a disability or other health conditions and you want to progress into or stay in employment.
